Turmeric Cinnamon Latte

This creamy turmeric cinnamon latte is super delicious and warming. It makes your house smell like heaven and it has a lot of health benefits. Turmeric is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This recipe also features fresh ginger and cinnamon with similar health benefits. It is the perfect drink for cold cozy winter evenings. Just light some candles and relax, sipping on this beverage. You can whip it up within less than 5 minutes and it only has 5 ingredients.

I used coconut milk to make this recipe dairy free and AIP friendly but feel free to substitute with your milk of choice.

Tips for buying the best coconut milk

I always try to go for coconut milk with the least amount of additives preferable none at all. I, therefore, choose canned, BPA free, full-fat coconut milk. A little tip here on finding out if there are additives etc. in the foods you are buying. Don’t waste your time on reading what the claims in front of the product are saying. If you really want to know what is inside your food, go straight to the ingredient list which is usually on the back of a product written very small.  The ingredients are listed by amount, so for example, if you see a health claim in the front of a food package and the second ingredient is high fructose corn syrup, RUN! 😉 A good rule of thumb here is, if you don’t know what the ingredient is or if you cannot pronounce it, don’t eat/drink it.

Canned coconut milk is a lot more creamy compared to the one that comes in milk cartons. I simply used one can for this recipe which is for two people. Because you will be quite full after drinking just a small cup of it. If you like your latte less creamy feel free to dilute it with as much water as you like.

Turmeric Cinnamon Latte

This delicious hot drink is a real anti inflammatory and antioxidant bomb featuring turmeric, ginger and cinnamon. It is paleo, AIP and dairy free.

  • 1 can coconut milk full fat
  • 2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp honey
  • water (optional, if you would like your latte less creamy)


  • Pour the coconut milk into a small saucepan and heat it over medium/high heat.
  • Chop the ginger and add it to the milk.
  • Add turmeric, cinnamon and honey and whisk together.
  • Once the latte is hot pour it into small cups.
