Turmeric Marinated Salmon
I like to keep it very simple when cooking meals, especially during the week. I also like to make large portions to have plenty of leftovers. To keep it exciting, using spices and fresh herbs are my secret weapon. This turmeric marinated salmon recipe has all of the above-mentioned benefits. It is extremely easy and quick to make and unless you are feeding a lot of people you will be left with lots of protein that you can use for the following days to whip up a quick meal. If you want to stay within the turmeric theme I recommend to try this dish with my aloo gobi recipe.
My favorite part about this recipe is that you only need five minutes of your time to make it. The rest will happen in the oven all by itself and you can either make a side dish or go about your day.
How to make the turmeric marinated salmon
To make this recipe place the fish on a parchment paper-covered baking sheet. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and season with onion powder, garlic powder, and pepper. Omit the pepper if you are following the autoimmune protocol. Lastly, season with turmeric powder. Feel free to adjust the amount of seasoning to your liking. Drizzle with lemon juice and finish up by adding salt.
Bake for 20 minutes on 350 degrees Fahrenheit or until the fish is starting to flake. As you can see it is super easy to make and perfect for your weekly food prep.
One word of caution: Turmeric powder stains a lot, so avoid wearing your favorite garment when preparing it and clean up any spills even on your countertop right away.
I hope you love this turmeric marinated salmon recipe as much as I do. For questions and comments please refer to the comment section below.
