Hi, I’m Annika
Nutritional Therapy Practitioner · AIP Coach · Health Coach · Cookbook Author
I help women who struggle with food sensitivities and autoimmune diseases overcome digestive discomfort, cravings, and fatigue — so they can enjoy food and life again. My focus is on nutrition, lifestyle, and the root causes of symptoms, rather than just managing them.
My Story
I’ve been navigating food sensitivities for over a decade. After being diagnosed with uveitis, rheumatoid arthritis, and seasonal allergies, I turned to diet and lifestyle changes to manage my symptoms — starting with the Autoimmune Protocol (AIP), reducing my toxic load, and working with functional medicine practitioners. The results were life-changing.
Later, discovering high heavy metal levels in my body shifted my work toward environmental toxins as an often-overlooked driver of autoimmune conditions. It’s a piece of the puzzle that most conventional approaches miss entirely.
I’m half Swedish, half German — I grew up in Munich, studied biology at Stockholm University (with a focus on microbiome research), and spent years in Stockholm before moving to New York City. I’m a former professional dancer and a Pilates instructor, and yes — I don’t drink alcohol, not even beer.
My Approach
I believe deprivation is not helpful in healing. Real, lasting change comes from nourishing your body well — not from white-knuckling your way through restriction. Every recipe on this site is gluten-free, dairy-free, grain-free, soy-free, and Paleo (mostly AIP) — but designed to be something you actually want to eat.
I address nutrition, lifestyle factors, and environmental toxins together, because true healing rarely comes from a single change. My goal is to help you find what works for your body.
