Strawberries and Cream

This strawberries and cream recipe is the perfect super delicious quick and easy summer dessert. It is Paleo and AIP compliant and of course dairy and gluten free.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups strawberries (ripe)
  • 1/2 cup canned coconut cream ((the thick part of canned coconut milk, see notes below), additive free if you follow the AIP)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract ((alcohol free if you follow the AIP))
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp honey ((more or less depending on your sweet tooth))

Method
 

  1. Wash and cut the strawberries. Smaller pieces will give you a more flavorful cream.
  2. Mix the coconut cream with vanilla extract, sea salt and honey.
  3. Add the strawberries to the coconut cream and mix well.
  4. It tastes best when eaten right away. Enjoy!
